Q: What does E-Pal do?

A: E-Pal is the leading platform for fun and entertaining teamwork and socialization services for gamers. E-Pal offers gamers the ability to hire and play with the most engaging gamers, creators, and pros to sharpen their skills, ensure safe, toxic-free multiplayer sessions, or just socialize and talk about shared interests. All of E-Pal’s service providers are reviewed and approved to be on the platform as part of its commitment to offering a toxic-free experience for everyone.

Q: Why should I use your service?

A: On E-Pal, you can team up and voice chat with non-toxic players from all over the world, they will make your gaming experience much better! You can also experience useful and interesting lifestyle services provided on our platform, such as emotional support, relationship advice, sleep call, etc.

Q: How to become an ePal

A: If you are 18 years of age or older, simply sign up using your email or phone number and submit an application for the game or lifestyle service you want to provide. Once your application is approved, you are an ePal!

Q: Can I stream or record the ordering experience?

A: All recordings need the consents of all parties involved. Failure to do so may result in account suspension. For more, you can check the community guidelines.

Q: How and who should I order?

A: Click on the “ePal” tab on this screen, then select a category and specific service that you are interested in.

Take this image as an example, “E-chat” from “Interactive entertainment” was selected, and the people shown on the right-hand side are the ePals (merchants) who offer services in this category.

How to find someone that is perfect for you? It is simple! Check their profile card out – There is a profile picture with their online status to the bottom right of the image. Then you can find their name, merchant level and if they have a specific status, such as a creator. Moving down from here, you will see service price, average rating and how many ratings they have in total. Once you are done reading, you can check out their voice clip by clicking on the top right corner of their game profile card.

Q: How do I place orders?

A: Once you have someone that you are interested in, click anywhere on their cover card to go into their detail page. If you are ready to order, just press the “Play” button! However, we recommend you to have a short conversation with the ePal first before ordering, which you can do so through the “Chat” button.

Once you click the “Play” button, a detailed menu on the order will pop up for you to review. After you have gone through the details, you can now place the order by clicking on “Confirm”, which takes you to the payment process. You can either pay with your Buff balance or straight from PayPal.

Q: What to do during orders?

A: We recommend you to carry out the order on our platform from beginning to the end, which includes chatting, voice calling, negotiation and transactions. Your activity on-site could be used as proof if you ever need to report anything. Note: we do not take third party screenshots as evidence, as we cannot verify their authenticity.

Once your order has been accepted, you can press “Start” to start your Gaming/Lifestyle service. Hopefully it will be interesting and fun!

When the order is finished, remember to click on the “Finish” button to let the system know that the order has been completed.

Q: What to do after orders?

A: You will be presented with buttons to “Tip” and “Review” once you click the “Finish” button. Here you will be able to review the ePal, and if they have done a great job, you could send some tips their way!

Q: How to get verified as a Streamer on E-Pal?

A: Apply, link your Twitch Channel and you are ready to go! It is that simple.

It is worth noting that we ARE APPROVED BY TWITCH officially to sync your content onto our website. We follow ALL Twitch guidelines and ToS, so you will never get in trouble even you have signed Affiliate or Partner contracts with Twitch and other platforms.

Q: What is “Buff”?

A: “Buff” is a virtual currency used on E-Pal, it can be used to pay for services and tips. 1.00 Buff = 1.00 USD; “Buff balance” is the remaining deposit on your account that is able to be used. The money in “Buff balance” is a non-withdrawable currency that can only be spent on E-Pal. 

“Buff income” refers to the income you have generated through providing services and collecting tips. Income can be withdrawn and “Withdrawable Buff” is the number of Buff that are available to be withdrawn. 

Q: What is “E-Coin”?

A: “E-Coin” is also a virtual currency used on E-Pal. It is used to send gifts in “Team Room” and through our IM messenger. E-coin does not need to be recharged, as it is automatically converted from Buff; 1.00 Buff = 100.00 E-Coins; “E-Coin income” refers to the accumulated income from the gifts you receive through “Team Room” and IM messenger, which can be withdrawn.

Q: How to withdraw?

A: You can go to your wallet, then Buff Income to withdraw Buff to your PayPal

Q: Where can I withdraw my money to?

A: PayPal only for now. Other payment methods are in the works too, but it might take a long time.

Q: How long do I have to wait?

A: When you have completed less than 20 paid orders, you can withdraw your Buff income after 15 days;

When you have completed 20 - 49 paid orders, you can withdraw your Buff income after 7 days;

When you have completed 50 or more paid orders, you can withdraw your Buff income after 3 days.

Q: What is the commission on Buff withdraws?

A: It is a 10% platform fee and 0.25 USD fee for PayPal. The commission on withdraw keeps the platform operates and allow us to market for more clients. Thank you for your support!

Q: Are there any commissions on E-Coin?

A: Yes, there is a 40% commission on E-Coin. The commission will be deducted straight away once you send the gift.

Q: How do I issue a refund?

A: Navigate to the Order section and go to the “Completed” tab. Click the icon that has a dollar sign with a circular arrow around it to refund. You can only issue a refund within 72 hours of completing an order.

Q: When should I refund?

A: Common refund reasons include harassment, non-consensual recording, negative attitude, and suspicious transactions. If you ever feel uncomfortable during an order, you should leave and initiate a refund and report the incident to customer service by emailing support@epal.gg. Note our refund window is 3 days after completion. Completed orders won’t be able to be refunded if they are more than three days old.

Q: Can I refund E-Coin?

A: E-Coin are not refundable

Q: How can I remove a review?

A: Due to consumer protection laws, reviews may only be removed if there is clear evidence of harassment or the order was never completed. If a customer leaves a poor review that meets these requirements, please email support@epal.gg. You can also contact the customer and issue a refund if needed, which will remove the review.

Q: How can I review a customer?

A: When an order is completed, navigate to the Order section and go to the “Completed” tab. Click “Fast Review” to write an anonymous review for your customer - only other ePals can see customer reviews, and customers cannot see their own reviews even if they are ePals.

Q: I refunded an order, yet the cash didn't go back to my PayPal, why?

A: Due to the setup of our payment gate away, refunded Buff/Cash will be transferred into your Wallet on E-Pal instead of PayPal

Then click the “Creator Project” button once you login

We ask all of our creators to have a panel and hyperlink on their Twitch profile. To setup the panel, download the template through the link on this pop-up window. Once the panel is taken care of, press the “Panel Completed” on this window.

If someone has invited you to join our platform, you can write their ID card (The one starts with 15) in the box above. If not, you can go straight to “Authorize your Twitch”.
